Shipping and Returns

We ship via USPS by preference, but you're welcome to choose either of the other options. USPS will almost always be the most economical.

Any item may be returned within 90 days if it is defective, missing some component, otherwise not as ordered, or if you simply do not need it any more. Please contact us at 757-986-2046 or email admin@newnaturalsonline.com to tell us what is wrong. We will be happy to send you a free return label.

Welcome to our Store!
New Naturals began life in 2010 as a small woman-owned company serving southwest Virginia and the New River Valley with livestock feed from New Country Organics. Our offerings expanded to include culinary and medicinal spices for humans, and in 2015, our online site began to ship high quality spices nationwide. In 2016, New Naturals became the US supplier for the Doug English (now Turmeric Life) line of turmeric products.

Recently, the founder's son and daughter-in-law joined the business, and in 2022, New Naturals moved from its original location in Stuart, Virginia, to a new and much larger facility in Suffolk, Virginia. We now also grow some of the herbs and spices that we sell locally and online.

Our intention is to bring you the very highest quality products that we can source or grow, along with valuable information on their use.

Despite originating in India, cumin is so widely used around the world that it no longer carries a specific regional association. From Indian curries to Mexican chili to spicy meat rubs of any cuisine, cumin has indeed become a universally loved spice. We even found one recipe for German bierocks (meat rolls) that contained just a pinch of cumin, lending a slightly more spicy taste than the usual black pepper, mustard and perhaps thyme.

Cumin is one of the spices that we plan to grow right here at New Naturals (trials are underway this year). We love the smoky flavor it gives any dish it's added to. It's packed in 2-ounce, 4-ounce and 8-ounce standup pouches, or in 1-ounce glass jars.
