The long-awaited topical turmeric product from Doug English (Turmeric Life). This works just as well for people as it does for pets, by the way. It is exactly the same product as the MySkin gel that Doug English sells for human use. The samples we sent out this spring have gotten rave reviews.

PawSkin is not a cream or a lotion, but a gel that coats the surface of the skin similar to the way "bandaid" gels do. It is not just a soothing emollient for skin conditions such as dryness, sunburn and irritation. It can also help to heal the symptoms of inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It contains tetrahydrocurcumin as well as vitamin B3, to soothe chafing and the pain of insect bites and minor cuts.

This is a 100ml tube, large enough to last for a long time. A friend has been using it for plaque psoriasis since Doug sent us the samples several months ago. Has it 'cured' the psoriasis? No, and we did not expect it to do that. But it has largely controlled the flaking skin and appears to be helping with the excess melanin that often accompanies plaque psoriasis. My friend reports that after several years of unattractive dark blotches, they are finally beginning to fade to the color of the surrounding skin. This began only after she started using the PawSkin on the areas. Another friend is dealing with lichen sclerosus, and reports that she has been able to reduce the frequency with which she has to use a steroid cream to control the symptoms. We do not claim that PawSkin will cure anything. But the user feedback on it has been almost entirely positive with regard to the symptoms of inflammatory conditions, help with healing minor cuts and scratches, and more rapid healing from sunburn.
